From my experiences from several years ago. The staff were below average, they just had a rude mindset like they didn't put their heart and soul into it like other camps I've been to. It is also very large and can be over an hour and fifteen to hour and thirty minute walk from the farther campsites to the lake, shooting sports etc. Nowadays? I don't know but from my experiences I don't recommend it.
Pros: Okay Food, nice scenery, nice staff, fun doing merit badges. Cons: Let's you use your phone (Which I believe is going to distract boyscouts) and the long walks.
I live across the road from the boy scout camp and enjoy watching the scouts come and go. I hear the drums and the group assembly around the flag on the last morning of Camp. Keep up the good work of investing in the future of America's young men.
