WIC is a wonderful program when you get right down to it. It helps those with financial difficulties provide nutritious foods to their children. And I'm sure that the mothers receiving assistance for their children are grateful. However, I have found that when you go into the WIC office, you are treated as if you have no idea about how to provide healthy meals to your family and children. They also talk down to the clients. I have been insulted by the employees to the point where I've felt like it wasn't even worth the service.
